Sai serves authentic Punjabi cuisine with tandoor cooking a speciality. The spice range is broad, from minimal to high levels and vegetables forming the backbone of the menu. Wheat is the staple food of Punjabis; however, they do enjoy eating rice at festivals and other special occasions. When it comes to food, each region within Punjab has an entirely different preference, for example, people in Amritsar are particularly fond of stuffed parathas and milk products. The philosophy of life for many Punjabis is to eat, drink and make merry. They are lively people who are extremely fond of eating good food. In the preparation of Punjabi food, onion, ginger and garlic are used extensively to enhance the taste of the food.**NEW***SUNDAY BRUNCH 11am to 3pm, try Indian street food from different part of India with unlimited KADAK CHAI.****LUNCH****Now open for lunch Tuesday-Saturday 12-3pm. ST. JOHN Bread & Wine reflects the rhythms of its locale whilst observing the same respect for seasonal, indigenous ingredients and "the whole beast" as the bigger sister restaurant. Currently opening for dinner, Tuesday to Saturday, this branch very much beats its own drum with a menu structured towards a slightly less formal manner of dining, with guests actively encouraged to share dishes as they're ready from the kitchen. As well as selling goods to take home from our bakery, wines by the bottle or the case can be bought from our lists to take home with some delivery available. Bread & Wine has been voted Best British Restaurant by the Evening Standard and named as best value restaurant by The Observer Food Monthly.

Outstanding Italian restaurant in the heart of Soho. Three of us shared a starter of Calamari and Zucchini, with a huge bowl of green olives. We then had mains of the chicken risotto, pappardelle with beef and a Margherita pizza. The portions were way bigger than we were anticipating leaving no room for desserts. Every item we tried was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Service was exceptional. The final bill which included a glass of wine and two bottles of fizzy water came to £120 (including service). Highly recommended but just make sure you bring a big appetite!
