Best Authentic Restaurants in Newbury Park

This was our first visit to Reesa and we will definitely return. The menu had a good variety with some different dishes to the usual Indian restaurant fare. When the food came it was absolutely delicious. Wonderful flavours, good size portions and perfectly cooked. One of the best Indian restaurant meals I've ever eaten and my two companions thought the same. I would thoroughly recommend going there. It was fairly quiet when we went which was a weeknight. Quite a small restaurant so probably best to book at weekends.

The service and welcome is the first thing that hits you, before the style and then the diverse range of the South Woodford crowd, quietly and authenticity cool. Cocktails followed and then the food which is a cut above the usual Indian restaurant. Starters are really interesting, exciting to kick off the range of spices to be tasted. Mains offer offfer a beautiful quality of sauces, flavour the saffron rice added texture and gentle flavour. There are also some interesting fish dishes. A nice place to eat not your fancy indian restaurant decor, simple and straightforward. The service could have been better there was only 2 people running around serving and on a Saturday night I think at least 1 more is required. Otherwise they were very polite and attendative. I think it was a little pricey for 3 ppl it was just under£70 we had no alcohol.
