To this day I mostly make Persian food and my heart will always be there.After a 20 year career in teaching, it wasn’t easy to completely switch paths to give my passion a go, but after my first supper club in 2014, and a lot of encouragement from so many, I knew it was the right path. Since then I have enjoyed being a tv chef, working in Michelin star restaurants and writing for food cookbook. But my passion for health, the art of cooking, and creating community and a society which brings joy and change to peoples lives is still my main drive, and I feel that my supper clubs really nurture that desire and make me a very happy chef :)

Fergus spent the majority of his life as a passionate home chef, until his late 20's when stepped into a professional kitchen for the first time. Alkemio is actually the Esperanto spelling for alchemy, Esperanto was a language that was constructed out of the world's languages and had no real home. A must-visit for lovers of authentic Mediterranean cuisine! The frittura was crispy and light, the pescatora risotto rich and flavorful, and the grilled octopus perfectly tender. The zuppa di pesce was a comforting, aromatic delight. For dessert, the ricotta e pera was creamy and delicate, while the rum baba was soaked to perfection. Great food, warm ambiance, and excellent service—an absolute must-visit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely experience. We've now been to Chit Chaat for lunch, dinner and afternoon tea. The light meals and afternoon tea were very good. Main meals are mild and a little under spiced but still delicious. They provided a gluten free afternoon tea which was beautifully presented and tasted amazing and also made my elderly mother feel very welcome on her birthday celebration. Lovely surroundings and friendly staff. Some teething problems when booking online in that the restaurant was not receiving the bookings; would advise any customers to book via telephone or follow up an online booking with a call.
