Dining at Migrante was a gastronomic journey that exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just a meal—it was an immersive experience where creativity and precision took center stage. One of the most impressive highlights was the ingenious use of garden cress across multiple dishes. This delicate yet flavorful ingredient was transformed into a star of its own, elevating each course with its peppery freshness and vibrancy. Chef Fernando Martinez Zavala deserves immense kudos for the creativity and artistry displayed in both preparation and presentation. Each plate was a masterpiece, combining colors, textures, and flavors in a way that felt both avant-garde and deeply rooted in Mexican culinary tradition. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the storytelling behind each dish to the seamless pairing of ingredients sourced from their own gardens. Good dinner - an interesting take on Chinese food. We had both types of egg rolls, fried rice, and General Chicken - all were very tasty! We sat upstairs, and it was a fun setting - kind of a stereotypical Chinese restaurant decor, with lots of red paper lanterns on the ceiling. Recommend it for Chinese food if you are not looking for something ‘fancy’.

Havre 77 is probably our favorite French restaurant in CDMX: classical bistro menu, expertly prepared dishes, friendly and kind service, an intimate and cozy space inside a turn of the 20th century building. Indeed one of these places one enjoys going back to year after year.
