Best Authentic Restaurants in New Albany

I’ve been many times at Brio and I really like food and service. I only like to sit at the back though because the main room is too noisy for me and also it has a weird smell that’s been there for many years.

The expanded bar is a real gem at Giammarco's. They now have a music stage and much more seating since they pretty much doubled in size. They also have a somewhat private seating area within the bar if you want a little quieter experience. And a second bar now allows more bar seating for those who prefer that to being at a table. There are high-tops and low-tops in the bar, all with a view of the music stage. Check it out!

My family and I had an amazing dining experience at Marcella’s Italian Kitchen in Polaris! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy yet lively, perfect for a family dinner. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was cooked to perfection, from the fresh pasta to the flavorful sauces. The standout for us was the spaghetti meatballs and Tiramisu which was phenomenal. The service was impeccable, with our server making great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a memorable Italian meal!

Lovely dinner! We especially love the new grill option for the meat/veggie course. It was delicious!!! The entire meal was good! Love the classic alpine cheese and the classic chocolate fondue. I’m gluten free and they brought us gluten free options! Service was excellent and attentive- even on Christmas Eve!! Worth every penny!!!!! 🎄

Amazing experience! Went for thanksgiving and the staff was SO nice. Had a great meal too.
