- EEdwardWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFew places exceed expectations set for a newer restaurant but this was my experience on my first dinner at La Grande Boucherie. Filled to capacity for Thanksgiving, the service didn't suffer, the wine list well matched to the menu, and the food was perfectly prepared. The steak melts in your mouth, the French onion soup better than Paris, and oysters fresh, plump, and perfectly chilled. Outstanding. But nothing prepares you for the breathtaking ambiance! The sweeping staircase, magnificent Beaux Arts interior- you might think you're in Paris!More infoLa Grande Boucherie - DCPrice: Very Expensive• French• Washington•4.5

- RRachelLos Angeles •17 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFood was so amazingly good, from the roasted cauliflower to the tender and flavorful steak. The service was friendly and helpful, modifying the chef's menu for our vegetarian with shellfish allergy guest. And the overall enviroment was warm, welcoming, and cozy. My only complaint is that the experience is so good that no one wants to leave their tables! Like a great family dinner. - EElizabethSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe booked a table for two for date night the Tuesday before thanksgiving. I was surprised by how empty the place was. This is an authentic Spanish restaurant. We ordered tapas though they do have main courses and paella. Everything we had was delicious. I was in Spain not long ago and this put me right back. Service was spectacular. They have a lovely private dining space for a large party. Coat check took. 10/10. I highly recommend.More infoTaberna del AlabarderoPrice: Expensive• Traditional Spanish• Downtown•4.7
- LLucyWashington, D.C. Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoFilomena does not disappoint! Always perfectly cooked pasta, chicken and seafood. The place is already decorated for Christmas which makes it quite an experience with a polar bear dressed in his best and Santa not to mention all the streamers and stuff hanging from the ceiling. No place like it. Only downside is they fill the place up and it gets tight and warm down in that basement. A must for any trip to DC and Georgetown!More infoFilomena RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• Georgetown•4.8
