- GGlennSan Francisco Bay Area •286 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMeyhouse Palo Alto is an excellent restaurant for Turkish Mediterranean food. The food was really exceptional. They make their own delicious creamy yogurt which they use in dishes. So if you enjoy yogurt, you will love this place and they have unique salads and excellent fish on the menu. The food is super healthy and delicious. I definitely want to go back for more. They have a full bar and excellent Turkish wines. The restaurant is also nicely designed. But it can get a little noisy in some places where there might be larger groups.More infoMeyhouse Palo AltoPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Palo Alto•4.8
- AArtCleveland / Akron / Canton •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 22, 2024What a terrific place. The staff was very attentive and very accommodating of my 92-year old mother who uses a walker. Food was delicious. Service was timely and allowed us to easily get to our performance at the Lucie Stern Theater in plenty of time.More infoTAVERNA - Palo AltoPrice: Expensive• Greek• Palo Alto•4.7

- MMadhuSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024We initially booked a table for two, but two of our colleagues joined us later, making it a party of four. I must say, this place is phenomenal! We got there by 4:30, and the place was already quite crowded. This was my first time visiting, and I actually found out about Jaks through Forbes magazine. The ambiance was fantastic—not like your typical Indian restaurant. It was clean, simple, and very well done. Honestly, you wouldn’t even guess it was an Indian restaurant at first glance because the decor was so modern and upscale. They have a full bar, and we enjoyed a couple of cocktails, which were amazing! We also tried four sharable plates, and every single one was interesting and unique. The chef’s signature dishes, especially the sea bass, lamb shank, and lamb chops, were absolutely stunning. The flavors were so authentic, and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was very attentive, which made the whole experience even better. I heard from one of my colleagues that the menu changes every six months, which is pretty exciting. I’m already looking forward to trying their lunch menu next time. Overall, it’s a great place for dining—whether for a casual meal or something special. This was a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be back soon!More infoJaks Authentic Indian & Modern VibePrice: Moderate• Indian• Santa Clara•4.1
