- GGalVIPLos Angeles •21 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoGreat food and a beautiful ambiance. Our service was not good. It looked like our waitress was too tired and ready to leave. Overall good selection of sushi, sake and Japanese whiskeyMore infoMakoto PanamáPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Panama City•4.7
- SSwatiVIPWashington, D.C. Area •28 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis place is beautiful, and I loved sitting in the outdoor patio! My server was Eric and he was wonderfully patient with me as I chatted with him so much about the food and drinks. The ceviche del dia was outstanding! The house made bread was divine with the completely unique savory hibiscus butter! The stracciatella ice cream was made with chocolate made with Panamanian cacao! And it was the best stracciatella ice cream ever! The mixed herbal tea was fantastic too! It was a mix of mint, lemongrass, rose, petals, and hibiscus. Service was outstanding overall, and the ingredients are truly farm to table. I highly recommend this place and thank my friend, the Panamanian chef from New Orleans, for recommending it to me. - GGiovanniSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 21, 2024What a beautiful homage to Panamanian tradition! Greeted by friendly host to our table. The mood is festive with Panamanian music playing. The restaurant is curated with simple and elegant Panamanian decor. Our server the best! Claudio, ask for him, attentive and friendly! The food wow where to begin. We had appetizers to share. The octopus, the ceviche, the corn fritters and the empanadas stuffed with meat and the other with shrimp. All was tasty, fresh and delicious ! For meals we had the hamburger, the arroz con pollo with poached egg, wow what a combo!, ropa vieja with rice and coconut and guandu and the marisco guacho, which is like a risotto. All were flavorful and good portion sizes. These traditional dishes all had amazing twists to them. And dessert the maracuya mousse!! Wow what an ending! Fabulous gastronomic experience! Highly suggest to visit! At night they have live entertainment from Thur to Sunday.More infoAya la Vida Restaurante - Cocina PanameñaPrice: Moderate• Panamanian• Panama City•4.8
- MMarkSeattle / Eastern Washington •10 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 18, 2024No restaurant we’ve visited in Panama City has disappointed, but this offered the best value and felt the most local. Sangria is excellent, local dishes are all fantastic. You can’t go wrong and the bill will be half of what comparable quality gets you elsewhere.More infoTrapiche Bella VistaPrice: Moderate• Panamanian• Panama City•4
- LLaKeetaDetroit / Eastern Michigan •2 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 7, 2024When I go on vacation I like to dine at local establishments. Concolon did not disappoint. I walked out unable to fit my pants. Food was great and authentic, The chicken broth that they served you when you first sit down makes you feel like you’re at grandma’s house. The sangria is made with love. Everything was “chef’s kiss”. Great value as well.More infoConcolon STREET food restaurante cafePrice: Moderate• Panamanian• Panama City•4.5
