Best Authentic Restaurants in Trieste

We had a great Christmas early dinner, and it was a breath of fresh air to be able to communicate with our server in both English and Spanish. We are American on vacation in Rome, and at times there's a language barrier, but here it was non existent. Menu was offered in English. The service was excellent, our server was amazing and so caring. Greater experience than those in the States.

Just a little spot but it has big food and great service. All dishes we were served were excellent. Gnocchi with four cheeses, ravioli with spinach and cheese, pappardelle ragu, caprese salad and Borghese salad with pears and walnuts. Finished with grappa and complimentary limoncello. Delicious! I would also add this was a Christmas Day lunch and service did not falter. Would recommend.

My mother and I were in Rome over Christmas and had dinner here on Christmas Eve. It was a limited menu for the family evening but everything was wonderful - and the tiramisu was so delicious!! The restaurant is run by a family and everyone we talked with was lovely. Definitely a jewel if you are looking for something with a more local feel.

On our eight days in Rome this was the high quality restaurant we went to. Other places were less expensive and quite good but this was the best
