- JJohnChicago / Illinois •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoDecision was mine to have dinner for 4 at Café Touché. It was a Tuesday evening so it wasn't real crowed and the noise level was very good for conversing. Food was very good and the service was excellent. This was our second time there and we will be back again. Our first time was a Friday night and to be honest it was very crowded and loud. I definitely preferred the Tuesday evening . Also on Tuesdays there is no corkage fee.More infoCafe TouchePrice: Moderate• Bistro• Edison Park•4.8

I come here for my birthday, my father-in-law's birthday, my sister's birthday, Father's Day- place is full most of the time, which is a good indicator of quality & service. Very kid-friendly as well- I am never disappointed at Edelweiss- Gemutlichkeit in abundance!!More infoEdelweiss RestaurantPrice: Moderate• German• Norridge•4.6

- RRonnaChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024We went for the Thanksgiving buffet and it was a lovely afternoon. The servers were quick with anything we needed and were always friendly. They were also helpful - my husband asked for Turkish coffee and the server responded that black coffee was included but there would be an extra charge for Turkish. Totally reasonable and I appreciated not getting a surprise added charge later. The food was solid, especially the cold apps/salads, cig kofte, lentil soup, bread basket, and the two meats made from ground meat. It's tough to prepare food for such a large group, so not surprising that the chicken kebabs were drier than I'd like. I was sad not to see any lamachun available, as it was listed. But that's okay as that's also something that's better when it's piping hot. At no point did anyone indicate that they needed our table, which can be a concern both at buffets and on holidays. We were able to relax between courses and enjoy the holiday as a family. I'd happily return!More infoA Thousand TalesPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Mount Prospect•4.4
