Our shared paella with a couple fried eggs on top hit the spot. Chef’s kiss!More infoZuni CafePrice: Expensive• Modern European• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.7
- JJoniVIPOklahoma City •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoLovely restaurant just steps away from where we are staying for the week. We are from Oklahoma City (visit often) and this is definitely on our list of new favorites! Service was attentive and the food was fresh, presented quickly and overall amazing. Great selection of wines and the bartender was very fun. We are actually taking a friend of ours that lives in San Francisco to dinner there this evening.More infoThe ParthenonPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Downtown / Union Square•4.4

Definitely best to go with people you can share with so you can try a variety of their offerings. Their focaccia, house cured meats, and the tritata salada are some of the highlights. You can't go wrong with their pizzas and pastas either.More infoChe Fico San FranciscoPrice: Expensive• Italian• North Panhandle / USF•4.7
- JJoanSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWestlake Joe's is a rarity these days in that it is restaurant with good food, good ambience and good waiters (they always checked on water and coffee). They are also to be applauded for having a menu with great variety that guarantees everyone in your party will find a meal perfect for them. Menu prices are comparable to most restaurants these days (which have become increasingly higher) but the difference with Westlake Joes and it is a real difference, is that their portion sizes remain generous and their food always tastes good. Our party ordered a Chinese Chicken Salad which was very large for $22.00, a pastrami sandwich with a side of Caesar salad (which was the size of a normal salad in most restaurants for $21.95 and a hamburger with a generous amount of fries. The desserts were also very good and generous (an ice cream sundae with 5 large scoops of ice cream) versus one scoop of ice cream in most restaurants and a large bowl of butterscotch pudding which was rich and delicious. The restaurant is generally always busy so my final note is to make a reservation! Parking can be challenging even though they have two large lots, but generally you can find a place. It is a wonderful local restaurant!More infoOriginal Joe's WestlakePrice: Moderate• Italian• Daly City•4.8
