Best Authentic Restaurants in Alveston

Attentive service, very friendly staff. A lovely atmosphere and fantastic food. Delicious flavours. We were a family of 4 including a 9 and 12 year old, and all equally enjoyed.

We had a lovely night at Baserri on Christmas Eve. The food was incredible, the wine tasting perfect and both the owners made a point of coming and talking to us (one of them coming from a couple of miles up the road from me in South London). Highly recommend Carluccio’s in Stratford-upon-Avon. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The food menu has plenty of choice and service is on time and not rushed. Visit regularly and our first choice for meeting up with friends and family.

We were visiting for family meal with eight people. It was busy because it was Christmas Eve but there was a good vibe and a relaxed atmosphere. The food was excellent (as ever).

A real Italian restaurant, although with some changes to menu style to suit local expectations, this is a welcome change from the many chain restaurants that are the same everywhere. Very good food, and a reasonably extensive and not over-priced wine list. My veal was perfectly cooked (pink), as was my wife's fish. The portion sizes are reasonable, so don't be afraid to order a couple of side dishes. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Service was perhaps just a little too rapid for my taste, I'd have preferred a slightly longer wait to finish my cocktail, and between courses, but that's very much personal preference. We will certainly return.
