- LLamarEl Paso •4 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoWe opted to sit outside, but the motorcycles , many, were a slight annoyance, so expect them if outside, this was not Anson's fault. I love love love the shoestring fries, I and another in our party specifically ordered them instead of the steak fries the menu included. But, they were OUT of shoestring fries so we got steak fries, pretty ho-hum fries. Service was great and we truly enjoyed the meal, better with shoestring fries tho. I definitely recommend Anson 11, we love the place.More infoAnson11Price: Expensive• Global, International• El Paso•4.5
- FFredEl Paso •7 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoMy five cousins and I had brunch at Taft-Diaz today. It was our first time there. Compared to other nice restaurants in El Paso, this place is excellent! It took about 25 minutes for the food to arrive, but we had read that this is usual there, so we were prepared for the wait, since we had a lot of catching up to do. Four of us had the Brunch Burger. The burgers and fries were delicious and cooked to perfection. I had the Stanton Breakfast. The home style potatoes were perfectly cooked! One cousin ordered the deep fried French toast. It comes with whipped cream cheese, seasonal berries and pecans. This was consumed very quickly! The only thing I would change is that perhaps the size of the small coffee cup that is included with the Stanton Breakfast could be a bit larger. The coffee was fresh - not too strong or too weak. For dessert, we shared a six-inch wide chocolate tort topped with what tasted like whipped cream cheese. Fresh berries covered the whipped cream cheese. It was not overly sweet, which is the way we like our desserts. The food tastes fresh and the portions are just right. The waiter was polite and attentive. The place is modern, elegant and immaculate. The sunlight from the high ceiling conveys a gentle sun room atmosphere. I especially like the fact that there is no music and no tv screens, which are too common in restaurants today. Delicious food and good conversation is what it is all about. I very much look forward to my next visit to Taft-Diaz.More infoTaft DiazPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• El Paso•4.3
