Best Brunch Restaurants in Holladay / Midvale / Sandy / Union

I took my wife and daughter to eat the day after Christmas. My wife and I always go in December to see the decorations and walk around after dinner. The swan was out in the upper pond. I enjoyed the fresh oysters. I really enjoyed the bouillabaisse, my wife the salmon, and our daughter the filet mignon very rare (blue). The sides were delightful. We couldn't resist the flourless chocolate cake and the chef specially prepared coconut sorbet. They accommodated the two gluten free ladies and one milk free. The service was also wonderful, cheerful and attentive. Meg made sure we were happy and well taken care of. The manager also visited us and wished us a merry Christmas. The valet gave us extra time to walk the grounds and see the lights and decorations before delivering our car without us even asking. We love going in the Christmas season.

Our dinner was lovely. The location is beautiful near the mouth of the canyons. Ambience is what I would term industrial elegant, contemporary chandeliers with copper top tables. The food was amazing. I had the mushroom risotto which was rich and definitely comfort food with layered flavors. Husband had the Waygu burger with truffle fries he said were delicious. Daughter had salmon which was perfectly done. Service was very good. Nice experience!

Sunday's Best was a very enjoyable experience. Good was great as well as the service. Enjoyed the live music and Santa Claus.

The iberico pork chop was incredible. The dates come on now!!!

Table of 9. We were seated immediately even though our entire group was slow at arriving. The waitress was attentive offering drinks while we waited for or entire party to arrive. The problems started when other than our waitress brought out our entrées. And proceeded to shout across the table what she was holding so that we could identify who it belong to. I personally as a diner, expect that my server remembers what dish goes to which guest at the table. We did not get a follow up after our food was served for quite some time. We had two missing ordered items when we brought this to our waitresses attention. She said oh I’ll just take that off your bill. Which that’s nice but no apology or if she had followed up after the food was served we might’ve been satisfied with what we had ordered. My dish was actually an appetizer and it was cold and it was a fried dish. A fried dish should not be served cold. So overall, not such a great experience.
