- MMichaelOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review4.0Dined 7 days agoStaff were friendly and professional. Advised on best wine with the meal. It was a Sunday evening, we arrived slightly early to the time booked but were still shown to our table. We were given the Sunday roast menu to which three had the beef and I had the lamb. The food tasted great with compliments from my guests. One asked for horseradish sauce to which was provided immediately. My lamb was a little chewy in places but overall was good. The gravy was outstanding in flavour and my guests also commented equally. This was a second visit to the Old Swan for me and two guests, the previous visit being about a year ago and both times were a great experience. Many thanks to the Old Swan and its staffMore infoOld SwanPrice: Expensive• British• Witney•3.4

- MMichaelWarwickshire •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 4, 2024A very cosy environment and a busy atmosphere gave the Fleece a really nice buzz. There was some big tables in enjoying Xmas work meals and so we were advised that service may be a little slower but in fact everything went very smoothly. The staff were all very friendly and professional despite being busy All the food was delicious, the service excellent and the choice of 0% beer very good! Portions were decent, there were some nice ‘gastro’ touches like the crisp chicken skin accompanying the Chicken Schnitzel and the truffle mayo. And the Tiramisu was stunning! All in all, great food, friendly service and a cosy venueMore infoThe Fleece WitneyPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Witney•4.6
