Best Brunch Restaurants in Killin

Slightly disappointed as we had look at the online menu and decided that it was a good choice and had a few options that we were going to choose. Got there (15th Feb) and found only a limited Valentines menu was available and the options from the main menu that we would have chosen were not available.

This is my favourite steak restaurant in Glasgow and hence why once again I chose it for my Birthday lunch with family. My wife had obviously told them that it was my birthday so there was a birthday card on the table..a nice touch. Anyway starters were excellent with the pork cheek and tiger prawn being superb. I had had the philly cheese steak spring rolls previously and knew these were really filling however my son had these and they looked superb. We all had fillet steaks cooked to either medium rare or medium and all were cooked to perfection. Accompanied by hand cut chips we also had sides of onion rings, rocket and parmesan, mac and cheese and glazed carrots and by the end we were all full although I did not have a dessert my wife and future daughter in law did and they looked brilliant. My girlfriend had been wanting lobster for nearly a year and we couldn't find anywhere for it but she said herself upon eating here "this is the best thing I've ever tasted". It made her day honestly and the staff were amazing! We had a few staff members come over, they were all lovely and served with a smile- I had the sirloin steak and it was perfect, obviously my girlfriend had the lobster and absolutely loved it. Cocktails were delicious too, and it was lovely to have water on the table throughout, they were very attentive and kept the refill glass full. We will absolutely be back, my girlfriend even asked me when we would be 😂 Thank you hawksmoor for a lovely meal, and for a delicious steak and lobster.

Good food, piping hot and served quickly. Reasonable prices. Also, the toilets (gents) were clean and tidy—always a sign of a well-managed restaurant. I am sure the ladies toilet was the same, but I didn't see them.

Visited The Spanish Butcher in Glasgow for my fiancé's 30th birthday last night. Great touch from the staff leaving a little branded birthday card for him. Everything was perfect. The staff are all knowledgeable & well mannered. We had a starter each & shared a chateaubriand (galician) with some sides. Our food was all absolutely perfect. Definitely the best steak we've ever had. The restaurant decor was moody & intimate & gorgeous. I can't wait for another special occasion to come back.
