Best Brunch Restaurants in Sorrento Valley

One of the last restaurants that still understand old school attentive service and style!! Food was perfectly prepared and presented on the plate; vegetables on the side were cooked to stay colorful, cooked just enough to be tasty yet still crunchy. Oh, the outstanding views were a bonus too. Valet service also great.

My wife and I enjoyed ourselves. We were sat promptly on the patio with the option to sit inside if it was too cold. There were multiple heaters keeping us comfortable. The view of the beach was great. John took great care of us and led us into two amazing dishes, the Hokkaido Scallops and the Seabass. The Seabass was the best I’ve ever had. We split a Ceasar (very good) and had a couple drinks. The bread rolls were underwhelming and I had requested a champagne split on my reservation that we didn’t receive but the overall experience was still great. The only thing we would do different is book earlier to catch the sunset.

Great experience! Food did not disappoint and did not feel overpriced. Heard wonderful things about the service which was a little bit slow for us but it was Valentine’s Day and they had a seating at every table so that was understandable. We texted both of our parents from the table to wish them a Happy Valentine’s Day and tell them that we’ll bring them to The Pony Room the next time they’re in town. :)

Pacifica never disappoints. Delicious food, fantastic service, great ambience and view. I’m a vegetarian and even though Pacifica seems to focus on seafood, their vegetarian options have been creative and delicious every time. Extensive wine selection too, with half-price bottles on Thursdays, it’s a great value.
