Best Brunch Restaurants in Toronto / Ontario

My husband and I dined here on Christmas Eve for the Old Mill's Famous Christmas Buffet. It was excellent as always. The selection is just enormous and there's everything you could imagine. The Roast Beef and Turkey from the Hot carving station was delicious, along with Yorkshire pudding and fabulous stuffing and cranberry sauce! We never miss this buffet if we are staying at home for Christmas. A big thank you to Karen, our waitress-she is phenomenal! So personal, so attentive and just a lovely person to talk to. Thank you Karen! I look forward to celebrating my birthday tomorrow night at Disco Night at the Old Mill once again with Jay Vasquez and Groove Marmalade! The winter ala carte menu looks great as well. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night and hello to Karen and all the wonderful dining room staff who work so hard. My friend and I shared an order of crab cakes, with salad and roast beef sliders. There were two crabcakes on the plate so we each had one. And he added an extra slider to the slider plate so we each had two sliders. The food was delicious and there was lots of it. We finished everything. But I could’ve done with just one slider and one crabcake. My only complaint is, it’s really not a good place for people who have any kind of hearing problems. It was quite noisy. This is not a complaint as such because it is the festive season and everybody was so happy to see everybody else and it was all happy noise. But it would’ve been nice to have a corner for older ladies who have hearing problems so they can talk. That is the only reason that I would not return to Earls. The food was great. Our waiter was really good. The ambiance was great., the bathrooms were great. Everything was just fine except for the noise and I don’t think the restaurant can really do anything about that.

Valet parking attendant, Dave, had an excellent service and friendly. Dave parked my vehicle and retrieve vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. He provided directions to Victoria Cafe per my request. When I was in my vehicle on my way leaving, I saw that Dave was checking other valet parked vehicles as part of his duty. I said Merry Christmas and he said the same back to me. Our server, BishwarupD, was excellent and helped us during the time of Afternoon Tea. BishwarupD always had a smile on his face, knows the menu, paid attention and care about our needs and wants, a good listener, checked back regularly to make sure all needs are being met.

We had amazing service from a very friendly server. Food was great and the menu was varied and creative.
