- RRichardYorkshire •1 review4.0Dined on Feb 28, 2025The place was quite busy when we arrived at 8pm, nice vibe and look about the place, but it was really cold. Friday was quite a cold night, so obviously when people came in and left the cold air came in. We had a 'pre starter' starter of pan con tomato, which was fantastic. When our two starters of squid stuffed kedgeree and some mini dumplings arrived, we shared both, starting with the squid, which again was fantastic, however the dumplings had got cold by the time we had finished eating them , they tasted ok, but would have been much better hotter. We asked the waiter if they could turn the heating up, which, they did , saying they hadnt realised it was so cold ( despite us, and most of the table next to us, still wearing our coats while eating.....doh ) Again, the main course food of the ox cheek, and the kofte was exeptionally good. Overall, food great, ambience (well temperature) poor. Would go again when its warmer.....but not in a hurry, which is such a shame, as the quality of the food deserves a better service from the rest of the restaurant.More infoKismet Contemporary Brunch and Meze BarPrice: Moderate• Contemporary British• Harrogate•4.9
