At just under 2000 sq ft with 18 foot ceilings and an abundance of natural lighting from six oversized windows, dp is a room that demands attention. Our dining room offers a mix of table & banquette seating in a decidedly more casual atmosphere than Yono’s.It features a 25 foot custom mahogany and granite bar stocked with a full array of spirits, cordials, and of course myriad wines by the glass. We pride our beverage program on fresh, seasonally inspired cocktails, & by the glass wine program, ever-changing, that rivals any in the region. We booked a table here prior to attending a show at the Palace Theater. We absolutely loved it. My first impression was that their beer, wine and spirits list (including crafty cocktails) is probably one of the most comprehensive I’ve ever seen. They give you a basket of warm homemade pretzel nuggets to start. Menu is very creative, with lots of interesting options. Their onion soup is some of the best I’ve had with its rich flavor and cheesy goodness (I hate when they skimp on the cheese!). Our server Colleen was very efficient and friendly. She had quite a few tables and she managed them effortlessly. The bar scene was hopping and looked like it might be an after work spot in Albany. Nice bar, nice vibe. Would definitely return.
