Best Casual Restaurants in Carefree

Keeler’s is a wonderful place to dine. If you haven’t been yet, give it a try. The menu offers a nice assortment of items including several different (and delicious) cuts of beef, some excellent seafood options, and a host of options. The service is top notch and the atmosphere is what you would expect from a longstanding western steakhouse.

Tonto Grill is a fun place to eat lunch or dinner. I really like their walleye as well as their pork schnitzel, but it has many other things on the menu that are good. The wait staff is always good, and it's nice to come back year after year and see my favorite waitress. It can be difficult to get in, so plan ahead.

The wait staff, (including even the busboy!) was some of the best service Ive seen at a restaurant up in Cave Creek/Carefree. Place is always one of our favorites because of the unique menu items but also because it feels like you are in a very family oriented environment. From the bus boy to the bartender to the server, you are very well taken care of. The cheesy garlic bread was a bit bland this time, the mozz sticks are nothing special, but the sauce and the Pizzacata pizza and the Amatriciana more than made up for it.

My fiancé and I went there for dinner to celebrate her birthday and shared a steak dinner. The steak was the smallest one I have ever been served in my life. It was approximately 2" in diameter and way too small for one person let alone two. Probably will not be back because of the expensive cost for such a small steak. Thank You

Prompt and friendly service. Dined outside and they have a great patio that is quiet and comfortable. Told our server we were in a bit of a hurry and he took our order and had it out in 20 minutes. We shared a bruschetta board and it was delightful. We will be back without hesitation.
