We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and they made it special from the moment we walked in, with a Happy Birthday card on our table. The service was wonderful, thanks to Alexa, Michael, and the rest of the crew, and the drinks and meals were delicious. We enjoyed the jagerschnitzel and a special - veal osso buco. Dessert was almost decadent - the chocolate soufflé - It was worth waiting twenty minutes since it is cooked to order. We came home with some pastries to enjoy in the morning as well as plenty of leftovers for tomorrow night. My husband has declared The Blue Door Cafe his new favorite restaurant.

Food was good; cavatelli special was fabulous but the risotto was rice pilaf. Service was okay - waiter did his best but it was clear he had too many tables tonight. Overall a nice experience and we are glad we came.
