Best Casual Restaurants in South Dallas

The experience, food and drinks were absolutely fantastic. The only thing I should’ve asked for was to sit at a different table instead of right next to the only other party on that side of the restaurant. But most likely it was because there were just two of us. The most important things were great

A very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere in the first floor dining room. We ate here before going to a play. The food was great, we loved the appetizers. The potstickers were exceptional as was the crab cake. We also enjoyed the coffee. May be the best we have had at restaurant in Dallas. The service was attentive but not rushed. We visited the rooftop where it was louder and bit more festive. It was the best of both worlds! Quiet and relaxing for a date downstairs and great upstairs for drinks with friends. The menu is served in both places with a Happy Hour menu upstairs. We will be back.

We had a large group for a birthday celebration, including small kids, and the server was great despite how hectic it had to be for her. The food was excellent and the setting was perfect as the space allowed the kids to be energetic without distracting/bothering other diners. The fact that we had great weather to be outside also helped greatly.
