Best Casual Restaurants in Musselburgh

We had a fabulous dinner here! The staff was very friendly. The service was very speedy. The children were tired and starving after a long day of traveling and they brought their food out very quickly. Everyone enjoyed the meals. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the steak was amazing.

I have eaten all over Italy and this was, hands down, the best Italian I have ever had. Staff was very efficient and kind. I thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

The food was excellent. Simple Italian done well. However there were significant issues with the service. Our mains were presented to us whilst still eating our starters. We weren’t at all slow so there was no apparent reason. We sent away the first server and then a couple of minutes later another appeared with the plates again! They did not appreciate that what they were doing was wrong. It was a busy Saturday and maybe the serving staff were not fully experienced, certainly their reaction, or lack of understanding, might suggest this. However, I suspect the real issue was in the kitchen as the waiting staff would just deliver whatever was brought to the pass. I don’t know but it really took the shine off a family meal that was celebrating my significant birthday.

What a gem. Lovely food, Great service. we had a range of starters and rolls and sushi and it was all absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.
