Best Casual Restaurants in Englishtown

We took friends to Istambul Bay Premium to celebrate the new year. We had a 645 reservation. We arrived promptly at 645 and we're seated immediately. We were served bread (it's fantastic) and water while we reviewed the extensive menu. Our waiter was very attentive and brought our wine choice quickly. We ordered our meals, enjoyed our beet yogurt appetizer. Our meals came out fairly quickly and all were perfectly prepared and presented! We fully enjoyed our meals, ordered Turkish coffee , espresso and rice pudding..all were fantastic. Only critique is that it was a Saturday night..so the restaurant was very busy and a bit noisy..but did not disrupt our table conversation. Extensive menu, good cost to quality value, reasonable cost on wine by the bottle. Service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant..but make sure to make a reservation.

The food and service were amazing! The veal and the broccoli rabe cooked to perfection. For dessert the stuffed zeppolis hands down the best choice. Great spot for a date night or anniversary. Enjoy!

We had a reservation at 7:45 we didn’t get seated till 8:10. But once we sat down the service was very good and fast. The food was delicious. I think the prices were fair for what you’re getting. We left with full and happy. The only down side is it’s very loud. You can’t hear anyone even the waiter.

We were a party of four on a relatively quiet Thursday night. We were seated right away and our server stopped by soon after. We were brought water while we reviewed the menus and rolls soon after we ordered. I had duck confeit, my wife had a steak sandwich, the other couple had a pasta dish and burger. While the food was well prepared and had good flavor, it did not overwhelm any of us. My duck dish came with only a leg and thigh, which I feel was on the small side for the price. What did they do with the breast since there was no other duck dish on the menu. There were pieces of duck with cassolle, but it would not add up to the breast. While we will probably visit this restaurant again, I think the portions could be a little bigger.

Great food, decor and atmosphere. Service was a bit slow but food was worth it.
