Opening Angelo Elia Pizza, Wine Bar and Tapas - Oakland Park was a passion of Chef Angelo Elia for more than eight years. While Casa D'Angelo has been a place for him to showcase his depth of Italian technique, he wanted to create a restaurant that felt more like the simple Italy he visits year after year where ingredients are at the forefront. A place where you could come and sit and pick at food as you want with friends. But it didn't come that easy. Like all things that are simple, careful thought and research has gone into the menu and the guarded sources of our premium ingredients. In the end, Angelo Elia Pizza, Wine Bar and Tapas is all about friends and a good bottle of wine enjoyed in a contemporary, easy dining atmosphere.

This dining experience was our second night in a row where we had to return for another outstanding dinner. Regardless, of the appetizer, entree, and dessert your selection will be tasty, right size portions, and with presentation. The grouper is great especially if you order their sauce on the side. Being a fan of key lime pie - it’s in my Top 2 in the nation as the greatest I’ve ever experienced. Their tacos as an appetizer are great! And lastly regarding key lime, you must try their exceptional key lime martini. Amazing! Robert P. Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Wonderful meal. All pastas were al dente, pizza crust was flavorful and perfectly charred in the brickoven. Service was terrific. Andrew our waiter was very attentive as was the rest of the team. As transplanted New Yorkers, this is the Italian food you crave.

We love this restaurant that looks to be a hole-in-the-wall, but is actually one of the most elegant and high end restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. The atmosphere is sophisticated with Italian charm, the staff is classy and so knowledgeable, and the food always exceeds expectations. The clientele is posh as well and there is a wine list suited for everyone. One of my favorite things about this restaurant is the daily specials that somehow always hit the mark. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely.

It-s a very nice place We had two starters, fried calamari and mussels with french fries, and we shared a scottish salmon. Everything was excellent. The wine list with somehow expensive wines. And the noise was very energetic. Very good service,
