Our server was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. He made sure to check on us regularly, even though the restaurant was incredibly busy. The service truly made our evening special. We can’t wait to come back!More infoJOEY Manhattan BeachPrice: Expensive• American• Manhattan Beach•4.6

Loved the sand dabs fish and they serve the best mash potatoes! The steak fries are to die for. My son said it was the best New York steak he ever had. He was turning 14 years old. He will always remember Dear John’s and his bday celebration. The cheese cake was delicious. And the wine list is exquisite. I just can’t wait to go back !More infoDear John'sPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Culver City•4.7
- SSoniaLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoSomerville was incredible! We were lucky to snag a reservation within their first month of opening. They offer valet ($15), though street parking seems pretty accessible. They have two lines at the front door— one for walk-ins (it looked like people waiting outside a club) and one for reservations. The inside is beautiful, pictures don’t do it justice! One thing to note: we noticed it’s not very accommodating to groups larger than 6 — we saw a group of 7 in a booth and they looked pretty squished. If you’re there for a date night or a smaller group, then seating shouldn’t be a problem. The food was phenomenal. All dishes were great, but I highly recommend the Manjari Torte dessert! It is hands-down one of the best desserts I’ve ever had!! We can’t wait for reservations to open up again so that we can go back! Somerville is one of a kind and such a great addition to the neighborhood.More infoSomervillePrice: Expensive• American• Culver City•4.6
- SStevenVIPNew York City •10 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoVespertine delivered one of the most extraordinary dining experiences we’ve ever had in the United States, rivaling the caliber of Michelin three-star restaurants abroad, such as Boragó in Santiago. The food was a stunning combination of originality, flavor, and artistry, each dish a masterpiece that delighted the palate and the eye. Service was impeccable, with the timing of each course orchestrated to perfection. The building itself is a marvel, adding a unique and modern dimension to the experience. While the evening was nearly flawless, there were a few minor areas for improvement. The final dessert felt overly elaborate and heavy, making it challenging to fully enjoy at the end of such a substantial meal. The dessert room, located near the entrance, was uncomfortably chilly on a cool evening, requiring us to retrieve our coats. Lastly, the $20 valet charge came as an unwelcome surprise, especially considering the restaurant’s high price point and the fact that the parking lot is private and on-site. A clearer sign or complimentary parking would have better matched the overall premium experience. These small critiques aside, Vespertine was a truly unforgettable dining journey—one we would highly recommend to anyone seeking a world-class culinary adventure in Los Angeles.More infoVespertinePrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Culver City•4.8
