- JJohnVIPLos Angeles •152 reviews5.0Dined todayI dreaded going out on Christmas Day. The restaurant was very crowded and noisy. One screaming baby--why do people bring kids to good restaurants? The server Chasen was absolutely great. He was on top of everything and extremely nice and pleasant. The oysters were excellent, fresh and full, served well with sauce and lemon. The caesar salad was very good. The double thick pork chop with a chutney and a butter sauce was excellent. I did not eat the dessert, but it looked good, some sort of cherry thing with ice cream and whipped cream. We had a very nice table in a corner with windows. It was a bit away from the crowded center. It was a perfect experience for any time, but especially for Christmas Day. Dining at 4:00 was a good idea, but it was very full when we got there and showed no signs of letting up. Thank you to Chasen and Gabriel, his busser, for making our experience so good.More infoMastro's Ocean Club - MalibuPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Malibu•4.7

- MMarkGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoBeing in from Boston for a quick holiday trip, we were pleased this place was open on a Monday for lunch. Valet parking, quick & polite for under $10. Hostess quickly seated our party of 3 in a covered, sunken garden terrace type dining room . Comfy seating but the youngish crowd was pretty noisy. We are older but I didn’t feel over dressed in my black blazer. The room and the attractive crowd would have been a good setting for a Jeff Lewis or Housewives episode. I got an Amalfi Blue ($16) good, tasting, fizzy lunch cocktail that didn’t leave me pulverized. Casa Lena Burger($18) was delicious. My wife got the Ahi Tuna Sandwich ($24) Looked like big portions, and our guest had the Steak sandwich, also big & she brought half home in the restaurant’s distinctive take out bag. Panettone (it’s Christmas time) and Passion fruit sorbet. Perfectly prepared . The attentive service people were professional and striking looking.More infoCasalénaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Woodland Hills•4.6

Small plates were delicious and service was very good. Read it was a local neighborhood fave and can see why!More infoZinqué - MalibuPrice: Moderate• French• Malibu•4.5
- MMeghan FarleyVIPNew York City •5 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 21, 2024The service was great, the food was good, as well as the view. The room, however, is nothing special; it is a multi-purpose room which happens to serve as a tea room for the occasion. There is unfortunately nothing in the design of the room which enhances the Garden Tea experience. To be truly successful, the Garden Tea needs its own space.More infoGarden Tea at The Getty VillaPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Pacific Palisades•4.7
