Best Casual Restaurants in Lowell

We've been to Larosa's many times (take out as well) and never disappoints. Our reservation was at 4:30 which we thought was too early. However, we had a quiet corner table near a window which made our Valentine's dinner more special. The cacio pepe rivaled the one I had in Rome. My partner had the baked scallops with rabe which was great (I helped her with the rabe!!) They had a wine special, a Brunello di Montalcino which was the cherry on the sundae. The second cherry was our waiter; Josh was superb.

Very hot in the patio area…bring a t-shirt. Otherwise was great!!

The food and service were excellent. Our server, Anthony Chapman, did an amazing job, He anticipated our every need. My only complaint is that I asked for something specific to be placed at our table, but it was not there and there was no mention made of it. I asked for a framed picture to be at the table upon our arrival. I did this to see if someone was paying attention. I'm not sure where the breakdown was; OpenTable or TCG? Other than that, everything was great as usual.

The food was excellent! I got the honey salmon with jasmine rice. The ther person got the Mac and cheese! We had a birthday party there and brought my own cake which they brought out at the end. Very happy with the service and food! Would recommend highly!

We had an awesome dinner here. The chef came over and said hello. The waiter was helpful and polite. They made an awesome cedar smoked old-fashioned that was among the top 5 i've ever had.
