Best Casual Restaurants in Mission District

Had a great Christmas Eve dinner with the family. Everything was excellent: the pork chop, ribeye, and salmon. The apple dessert was delicious.

We had a wonderful dinner at Delfina Restaurant last night. We ordered a lot of items and loved every one of them (except the gelato which seemed a bit freezer burned... but the pavlova made up for it!). The whole fish, the ragu, all of the sides (chard, Brussels sprouts, etc.), the pizza, etc. Everything had the best of ingredients and unusual (and very tasty) preparations. The service was attentive and friendly... overall, it was a great experience. We'll absolutely return.

Base Camp never disappoints! You can't go wrong with any curry and definitely add the spicy cauliflower and garlic naan.

We LOVED this restaurant. We sat inside so we couldn’t see the movie, but that wasn’t really an issue. The restaurant itself was stunning. Our server David was absolutely lovely. He really made our experience. The food was great, we got the smoked salmon, burrata with pears, sesame chicken, and pork chop. Everything was delicious. For dessert we got crème brûlée and a sort of chocolate mousse. Fantastic. It’s an expensive date but you pay for the food and the experience. Would go again!

Great—as always! The food is consistently good, the ambiance was lively and warm and the server was incredibly attentive.
