Best Casual Restaurants in Mokena

I went to dinner with my team from work for a Christmas dinner. We had a lovely evening with good food, conversation, and drinks. The wait staff was just attentive enough. The food came promptly so we lingered some afterward talking and never felt rushed.

First time dining @ Frankie’s and they did not disappoint!! Being an ex server myself, service is extremely important to my dining experience and Frankie’s is top notch!! Someone is always there to clear your empty plates. If your server is unavailable, someone else brings out your food. Excellent excellent service!! And the food…. Omg!!! Started with the Parmesan fries delish!! Had Pappardelle with the braised ribs… it comes with rigatoni but subed Pappardelle. Hubby had Chicken Parm which server suggested to sub vodka sauce… omggggg!!! The owner was right there in the midst of everything…not as a sarge watching his restaurant with an evil eye, but as an owner who has a love for his business and gets right in there working alongside his employees! If I was still serving, I’d have loved to work here! We will definitely be back! Thank you for making my birthday so special!

Our server Trevor is an absolute gem! He shared with us why he's been with Cooper's hawk for so long and the generosity shown by the company during Covid, in particular. He was on point with his menu and drink suggestions, and he was attentive without being annoying. :) The perfect evening with colleagues for the holidays with delicious food, tasty drinks, and excellent service.

Greeters need training on how to receive incoming guests. Other than that, the food and ambiance is good.
