The Story of Josephine’sThe story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. The Log Cabin is definitely a stop if youre looking for a special night with your significant other. The menu was limited and no choices for pasta lovers but there is definitely something there to suit anyone's palate. The cuisine is a mix of traditional with a modern flare. The steaks and seafood were done perfectly and were prime cuts. The staff was extremely friendly, outgoing and professional. The ambiance was perfect with its quiet, clean, and private setting. It was a perfect night and setting for me to propose to my now fiancé. We had a fantastic time and the building is charmingly unique and ripe with history. We will definitely return. I felt that the pricing was fair and a "good deal" when considering all things there. I have eaten at many high end resturaunts and The Log Cabin will be a frequent stop for me and my fiancé. Fantastic job to the staff and chef!

Josephine's is our favorite restaurant in Lancaster. The service is the best I have ever received. The food is creative, fresh, and has layers of flavor. We love the environment. If you are looking for an elevated dinner, Josephine's is a must!
