Best Casual Restaurants in Clairemont

I love this place! Our waiter was so fun and funny and the staff are all so nice. Maria is a great worker and should be promoted to manager asap. She makes the restaurant what it is. Pedro is also spectacular and helped us with any tasks we needed and answered questions. The food was very good and Maria, one of the staff members was the absolute best. Ask for her when you go to la dolce vita! Just remember the bathroom needs a key. Our waiter whose name we cannot recall was great and had a big personality and was very entertaining. I am food critic and the food was wonderful.

As usual food was amazing and wine delicious. Definitely recommend Lucrezia. Done and the bar or at a table, both great experience!

Great food and drink choices, and wonderful staff!

If you’re a foodie then you will appreciate this place for a date night for flavorful international food with California and British influence’s and caring service. From the beverages I enjoyed the mocktail and happy hour appetizer with the best crispy pork belly bao I’ve had. The entree from the house made pasta in cream sauce and the jerk chicken was done with fresh ingredients and just hit the flavor notes. For desserts we appreciated the date cake with the homemade gelato. There is an outdoor area for kids to play around and outdoor seating. We’ll stop by with our kids next time for their high tea and my husband will consider California English as a spot to bring in business clients. Plenty of parking just as you drive past it to your right side, and try not to accidentally park in the Chick-Fil-A area. Thank you again!

My family and I had the best experience at Tidal. What a cute, quaint and peaceful Christmas Buffett dinner. The staff were very attentive and kind. They took the time to talk to us and despite it being a Buffett they offered to get us food items. We were there for almost 3 hours and it sure did not feel like it. The food was amazing, great seafood and even picky eaters were thrilled with the options. We sat outside at sunset taking in the beautiful views. Bartender even created a special drink for me. I try to take my dad to a new Christmas Buffett dinner every year ( we are local) we’ve been to about 10 different places, and the tidal hands down was bar far the best experience we’ve had. I will 100 percent go back.
