Best Casual Restaurants in Sorrento Valley

This place never disappoints. Everything that I have had here has been absolutely delicious. The focaccia is nice and fluffy, the bucatini is so flavorful, the Margherita pizza is perfect, and the Tiramisu makes for a perfect dessert.

Had a lovely time; first time sitting inside, which was a great choice considering the weather was so windy and rainy. Had three apps first; Little Neck clams were fantastic, as was Baked Brie and coconut shrimp. Always eat the Brie first when it arrives at the table; as it will stay warm and melted to the end; then move on to the shrimp and clams last. Main courses of Surf and Turf plus a NY steak were also great. This was a tremendous 25th anniversary dinner.

We had wonderfully delicious enchilada dinners ! One was the steak , moist flavorful and tender and the other we upgraded to all lobster .. Being from the Boston area , we were impressed with the flavor combinations and amount of meat in the dinners :-) the service was attentive and noise level and decor fun and festive !! Well done South of Nicks Del Mar !!

Pacific Coast Grill has truly become our favorite restaurant, and we make it a point to celebrate all of our special occasions here. Every time we visit, the food never disappoints, but this time there were a couple of standouts that really made our experience unforgettable. The Cardiff Reef Roll was absolutely incredible, and the Alaskan Halibut was cooked to perfection—so flavorful and tender, it truly exceeded our expectations. Even though Pacific Coast Grill isn't a dedicated sushi spot, their sushi is unbelievable. It's always fresh, flavorful, and crafted with such care. It’s a pleasant surprise every time. We also really enjoyed the Pinot Gris from Willamette, which was the perfect pairing with our meal. The wine selection here always complements the dishes so well. Lastly, the valet service was impeccable. They were kind, professional, and made sure our car was parked right up front, so we didn't have to wait in the rain. It’s little touches like this that make a big difference in the overall experience. We can't wait to come back and continue celebrating more special moments here!

Great experience as always; it go to diner in North County. Never ever had anything less than perfect service and food.
