Best Casual Restaurants in South Carolina

We'd been to Frankie Bones before. This was an excellent meal with excellent service as was our previous visit. Our waitress, Karen, was outstanding. We will likely return to Frankie Bones before leaving HHI. If we do, we will ask for the same waitress, Karen. She was as good as it gets. We didn't have to ask for anything. She anticipated everything.

Gusto never disappoints! I would absolutely recommend this spot for Christmas Eve service again and again. Abby was our server and she was incredibly personable and attentive. Each course was timed well and we never went long without a check in for drinks or anything we might need. The food was all fresh and flavorful and the portions were enough to take leftovers if that’s your thing! We are repeat customers and we will definitely be back.

We brought friends that missed out last Christmas when we brought a large group. They LOVED everything, as did we. It always feels like a meal cooked with love and attention. Giovanni, our waiter, was spot on all night and truly spoiled us. From the minute we were greeted as we walked in to sadly when we had to leave everything was impeccable. I’m thinking this is becoming an Annual tradition for us. 🥰

Christmas Eve dinner. We had a reservation and were immediately seated. The restaurant has a nice vibe. Fancy without being stuffy. We were sat in the main dining room which has water front views. Our waiter (I believe he said Kumar but my hearing is not good) was excellent. The food was really good. We started with honey lime shrimp & a bottle of wine Husband had flounder with a spicey vinaigrette with risotto and vegetables and I had the salmon Rockefeller with mash and asparagus. We both loved the meals we chose. Finished with Hummingbird cake (YUM!) and coffee. We enjoyed every aspect of our experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Butternut Squash Salad a definite must have. Have also enjoyed their Delicious Ribs as well as Burgers. Service is exceptional. Great ambience to meet friends for Lunch, views of the Golf Course. When weather permits great outdoor dining as well.
