Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier.     Food was great, we ordered alot of skewers must order signatures. Also ordered a gyoza noodle soup made with tonkatsu very rich. Overall food is great. Skewers range from $7-10. But it takes a while for the food to come. Took us 1.5hrs to have all the food served. Tried lemon chu hi can't taste the alcohol. Also had lemon soda very lemony

    Christmas lunch was outstanding. Such beautiful table settings when we walked in and of course the beautiful view. The service was impeccable for such a busy day. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Thank you Bathers for a wonderful Christmas lunch.

    The customer service was excellent – the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The selection of food was impressive, with so many options to choose from, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Highly recommend for a great meal and top-notch service!

    It was my first time at Yakitori Yurripi and I was amazed by how authentic and delicious the food was. We particularly enjoyed the Miso Cod and Pork Belly - both were sensational! Service was quick and friendly, and the ambience reminds me of an izakaya straight out of Japan. The only thing was that we felt 1.5 hours was a bit short for a booking, however the food is great and we will definitely be back.
