- LLisaWashington, D.C. Area •1 review4.0Dined on Dec 13, 2024First I will say that the main thing is our server was fantastic. Kind, attentive and accommodating. I was having lunch with my baby’s god mother with baby in tow. The place is not ADA compliant . I had to remove the car seat from the stroller and carry them separately up a short flight of steps. But they sat us in a corner booth and it worked out perfectly. It is a smaller restaurant so having the stroller there was a little bulky but no one made complaints. I can’t remember our servers name but he was very kind. Made every food adjustment I requested, the food itself was very good. I had the crab dip, burger (with adjustments) and a peach mocktail (I recommend requesting ginger beer to replace ginger ale. Trust me.) my friend got the birrira cheesesteak sandwich and the clam chowder. She enjoyed both. When I needed to warm up a bottle (my baby is 2 months old) he graciously provided a mug of hot water. In summary: my only complaint was accessibility, doable but very inconvenient to have to carry a stroller up steps. The star was our waiter, he was kind and accommodating.More infoBistro @ The PorchPrice: Expensive• American• The Plains•4.6
- PPearsonWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 5, 2024Food and service were good. Great burger and fries. Price is OK. Problem is this place is always deserted. Airlie resort and it’s amenities like Harry’s are so under marketed and I’m afraid it’s not going to survive. You’ve got to spend money to make money, and they simply do not invest in marketing this gem in our community. Sadly, the grounds are deteriorating and it appears they don’t have the funds to maintain the property appropriately. Walkways are crumbling, lighting is broken and insufficient. I hope they give this property some TLC and revive it.More infoHarry'sPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Warrenton•3.9
- EEdwardWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 8, 2024My partner and I each selected a five-course dinner option from a wide-ranging menu of about 20 options. Each course was exquisitely prepared and we had a personal visit from the chef to answer any questions we had about food preparation or special needs. This ranked with one of the top meals I have ever had, both nationally and internationally. The price, with wine, for two was in the $500 range with tip, but the service, ambiance, and food made this special birthday occasion well worth it. I have no regrets. This is a place where one gets what one pays for. Simply superb!!More infoConservatory at GoodstonePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Middleburg•4.4
