Note to self: never reserve for the last seating on a holiday - they always run out of key dishes. The soup was gone, as were the stuffed mushrooms as well as the apple strudel - not to mention the Brussels sprouts being silently replaced by string beans. Plenty of other choices, but not always what we would have selected an hour earlier. Note to the restaurant owners: swap out the oil filled, open, unprotected flame votives with wax candles in proper votive holders (or battery LEDs, they make gorgeously flickering realistic ones now). Especially in an historic structure with ancient chestnut wood beams. We watched in horror as a staffer cleared a table near us - accidentally lighting a guest's napkin on fire. It burst into flames, was thrown to the floor, stomped on, more flames and then picked up again, still flaming and shoved into a coffee cream pitcher. A lucky ending to a reckless decor decision. Would we return? Absolutely, for an earlier sitting - and hopefully safer decor.More infoPeter Pratt's InnPrice: Expensive• American• Yorktown Heights•4.7

- SSusanNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThe setting is superb, hostess was very pleasant & wait staff was great. We were a party of 4 so we all had a different signature cocktail, they were all delicious!!! The food was extremely tasty but two poached egg dishes came to the table lukewarm. The other two entrees were warmer but not hot. The food in general was extremely tasty. A wonderful Sunday Brunch!More infoApropos Restaurant at The Abbey InnPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Peekskill•4.6
- GGaryvipNew York City •48 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoNever disappointed at The Gramercy. The Crab cake app is amazing, and they make an excellent cocktail to match. On to dinner, the special of the evening was jumbo scallops over risotto, and it was amazing as well. On the menu is the chicken. Cutlet pappardale and say YES!!! So good. Add some nice wine, and great service and it's all around a regular go to.More infoThe GramercyPrice: Moderate• American• Yorktown Heights•4.5
