Reservations are recommended but we make every effort to accommodate walk-ins when possible. Dining at Eigikutei was nothing short of extraordinary. Their vegan kaiseki dinner was a remarkable —each course thoughtfully crafted with precision and artistry, capturing the essence of traditional Japanese cuisine. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the delicate balance of flavors to the stunning presentation that made every dish feel like a work of art. One standout was the sesame soy broth used for the shabu shabu course—rich, fragrant, and deeply satisfying. Its depth of flavor perfectly complemented the meal, adding an extra layer of warmth and indulgence to the experience. The service was equally remarkable—warm, attentive, and reminiscent of our experiences in Japan. Every element of the evening, from the ambiance to the seamless pacing of the meal, transported us back to Japan. Eigikutei has set a new standard for plant-based fine dining. Whether you’re vegan or simply a lover of Japanese cuisine, this is an experience not to be missed. Highly recommended!

Great American café style comfort food. Unfortunately, we were the only customers in the restaurant at 8 PM on a Saturday night. Also, the risotto was too garlicky. Other than that, everything was great.
