Best Comfort Food Restaurants in La Mirada

We made reservations for 1:15 p.m. and were seated shortly thereafter. Our hostess and server were friendly and efficient and the food was very good. The cost was great. Our food came out in a timely manner. Overall, I was very satisfied.

Something for everyone - chicken, turkey, salmon, Mexican dishes, etc. and seemingly every possible side dish. Not fancy, but it doesn't need to be, just comfortable. The staff kept the chafing dishes full and immediately cleaned up any food dropped by customers. Nice environment. Every staff member we interacted with couldn't have been more friendly. I must have heard "Happy Thanksgiving" thirty or forty times, which we appreciated as it was very sincere. The staff did an excellent job of clearing tables and being available for anything we needed. We intend to attend next year.

We were able to find street parking. The restaurant was festive and surrounding area was well lighted. We sat at the bar while waiting to be seated. Cocktails were good and strong! We chose the prix fixe menu including dessert - brussels, corn, beets, clams, sea bass, and added the crispy pork belly - all was so savory and delightful! Ambiance was pretty! Service by Claire was awesome! Overall fantastic! We will go back for more! Great job Girl and The Goat!

Love this place we come up from San Diego and wish we had one closer to us ! Great food excellent service and the ambiance rocks!

We made reservations for Mother's Day at Mimi's and as usual they were wonderful! The food is consistently good, and our server was a gem! The manager is always on top of things and always makes sure that we have a great dining experience. We would recommend Mimi's Whittwood in Whittier to anyone :)
