In 1688, Joseph Haviland built a tidewater gristmill that provided the locally-grown grains to a nearby bakery that supplied farmers and tradesmen with bread. My wife and I are regulars at Haviland's. The food and service is always consistent. The menu has something for everyone and the bolognese is off the charts good. The specials are inventive. The atmosphere is elegant and not pretentious. I think we're lucky to have this type of restaurant in our neighborhood.

First time at Churchill's. The wait staff were good, the food was good and we were served in a timely manner. However, it was SO noisy, it was difficult for the 5 of us to chat.

Nothing fancy, but the food was good, prepared well and fresh. The wait staff was friendly, prompt and responsive. As this is a responsibly priced restaurant, it attracts families, so it can get a bit noisy with kids, along with music and overhead TV monitors. An excellent place for a reasonable night out for family interested in good food with good company!
