Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Midtown

Made a reservation, which was very simple and our table was ready upon arrival. All staff from entry to exit were friendly and attentive. If you can get a table near a window, the view is excellent! We had a larger group and everyone enjoyed their food with one exception. The filet was not great, but we are admittedly picky about our beef. Fish and Chips, Cobb Salad, Burger, and kids meals were all good. Portion sizes were also ample. That said, if you want to substitute a side for another option it's a $4.00 upcharge. Fries instead of mashed potatoes? Upcharge. Carrots instead of greens? Upcharge. So just know that going into it. Overall a good experience.

Filet was outstanding. Au gratin potatoes were good but a little undercooked Wedge salad was very good.

We had a fantastic meal at Red Rooster! The Burger of the Week was a standout—juicy, flavorful, and well-crafted. The Fish and Chips were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. We also enjoyed the grits, which were creamy and rich, as well as the seasonal vegetables, which were fresh and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu! Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
