Established in 1959, owners Jenny Youll and Mike Sabina expanded the once small coffeehouse of St. Michaels Alley into this intimate dining establishment in 2009. The restaurant provides three comfortable spaces for a dinner out with friends, date night, or a complete private event. The main dining room is wood paneled and intimate. The front room / bar area is more casual and social, yet still offers tables with linens and the full menu. The solid wood bar is a favorite dining spot for many of the regulars and locals. Unlike a nice restaurant, it has a bar (or a pub) feel. No linen tablecloth, for example. The service was hurried - got our order wrong. The drink was 90% ice and very little juice. But it's a decent neighborhood place for a quick meal.

St. Mike’s has a wonderful combination of atmosphere, great service (on all levels; friendly, knowledgeable, tuned into what you want), and really good food. The specials are always worthwhile. There are different areas in the restaurant: the bar, outdoors, and two other rooms so even though the place may be crowded, you don’t lose the intimacy. Great attention to detail. We’ll be back soon.

We were there for the Christmas buffet. The food was marvelous and plentiful: prime rib, salmon, pork loin, ribs, bbq chicken, assorted salads and sides, and desserts. The service was fine and the price was great. We'd like to go for a regular dining experience in addition to the holiday buffets as we also went to the Thanksgiving buffet.

We had an exceptional dinner on Christmas Eve. Jose, our waiter, was awesome and knew the menu well and provided excellent service. The food was outstanding, just a perfect evening. One of the best restaurants we’ve been to this past year, highly recommend!
