- GGaryVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •29 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis restaurant is consistently good - service, food quality, portions. Can be a bit loud in the main dining room if there are large parties.More infoLa Toscana RistorantePrice: Moderate• Italian• San Rafael•4.7
- TTerrySan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoYes! A restaurant where we can hear one another. Rare treat! Food and drink both thoughtfully and competently made. Fave dish was the Petrale over a silky cauliflower puree, with roasted cauliflower, pickled slivers of Fresno pepper, a light hint of Indian spice, topped with versus-soaked raisins, cashews, and coconut. Perfectly cooked fish, symphony of flavors that worked great together. The chicken liver mousse appetizer was good, as were croquettes of braised lamb, but not as star-worthy as that entree (we split 3 dishes + dessert). Apple cake was also luscious, great ending. My husband enjoyed his drinks, and I got a complimentary virgin Negroni (small) as a gift -- it was our anniversary dinner out-- and him, some Champagne. We'll definitely be back. Service was quietly competent, and the vibe was really nice. Full restaurant on a weeknight, but still space and privacy from other conversations.More infoBardo Lounge & Supper ClubPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Oakland•4.9
- TTheresa ASan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoThe service was fantastic! I could go on and on about how excellent our waitress, Tatiana, was, and how fast and professional the other staff were! They worked really well together and it was as pleasure to see. The views were great! The food was okay. It lacked seasoning, so it was pretty meh and bland, although beautifully presented and cooked well. For example, my braised short ribs were ABSOLUTELY tender, but there was hardly a particle of salt in them, so the flavor of the meat was absent. (The sweet potato fries were spot on though!)More infoBarrel House TavernPrice: Expensive• Californian• Sausalito•4.5
- MOMelissaOSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 26, 2024Went to Wilder SF for Christmas dinner. My wife had the prime rib special and I had the pork chop dinner. Both were amazing. The pork chop had a wonderful sweet and salty flavor—no complaints on anything! We did the roast cauliflower for an app and they were super thoughtful of my allergies and skipped the flash fry since calamari goes in it (seafood allergy) and let us know it would take just a touch longer. Appreciated the safety and communication. We finished with affogato for dessert which is served in a waffle cone. A little twist on a classic. I wouldn’t normally like a waffle cone with it but it made it perfect to split with my spouse who really enjoys that part. Great place. Can’t wait to go back.More infoWilder SFPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Marina / Cow Hollow / Presidio•4.4
- OTOpenTable DinerVIPIndiana •26 reviews4.0Dined on May 22, 2024I was surprised and pleased at the quality of my food. I had a New York strip and this being a hotel restaurant generally they are not the best you have ever had. My steak came prepared absolutely perfectly and flavorful my meal was very enjoyable and the service was very good.More infoRed Oak Craft Bar and RotisseriePrice: Expensive• Comfort Food• San Rafael•4
