It came with a 4 lane basement bowling alley that was a local hangout for decades.There was talk of a speakeasy during prohibition. The Biltmore was across the street from a regional rail stop and often hosted private events for dignitaries, politicians and celebrities.Much of original brick front and interior has remained the same over the many reincarnations of this legendary bar.     The food was really good. We had fresh oysters, clam chowder, sea scallops, fried clams, and Boston creme pie. The server even brought us a serving of cornbread while we were waiting for the food to arrive. Outstanding all around. The booth was a little tight, but hey, its the oldest restaurant in the US, so maybe folks were smaller back then. :-)

    We always get oysters and the salmon tartare. From there we order a couple of additional dishes to share. This evening we had the redfish ceviche and it was truly next level. Chef Isaac was kind enough to speak with us about the best fishes to use in ceviche and share some helpful suggestions for preparation at home. We have just about mastered the beet salad; but, honestly, it’s always better here at Row 34 in Burlington MA. The staff are all professional and friendly. A special shout out to the shuckers!
