Best Cozy Restaurants in Hampden

My fiancee and I dined here last evening for a special occasion and we were floored by how amazing everything was! Our waiter Ernesto was wonderful, patient and so kind and assertive, and all staff who delivered food and helped us out with drinks were amazing. We had the NY sirloin and petit filet, sides were done to perfection as well. Food was perfect, and we complimented the meal with nice red wine (try the pinot noir from Oregon) and the cheesecake and espresso desserts topped off the evening as if we weren't full enough! It's a standout establishment in DTC and we will be back! We had a mindful experience without photos of the food but I did capture the ambiance, so perfect for the holidays and end of the year to go out and be taken care of in this way. We had heard of the Ocean Prime Chain but never tried it before. It was fantastic in all ways and we are already planning our return visit. Our wait staff was perfect with Joe leading the group. The lobster bisque was to die for and went over the top when we added a teaspoon of sherry to it. They need to put that sherry option on the menu for all to enjoy. We will be in Phoenix and Orlando in the coming months and plan to try those Ocean Prime locations when there. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and Ocean Prime made it very special and memorable.

Our server Amanda was great, as were the others who were part of the outstanding service. Our group of six ordered various menu items, all of the food was well prepared, delicious and the presentations of it were lovely. We very much enjoyed our Christmas dinner there with friends and family. Whether for holidays, special occasions or dinners any day, Chianti Ristorante has a very special Italian ambiance, which reminds us of the places we went to in Italy, and is a wonderful place to go.

This was our third year as a family celebrating Christmas at Del Frisco’s. Everything was top notch and every staff member beginning from the moment you walked up to the entrance with the valet men all the way to the very last contact inside the dining room was extremely pleasant!
