- CCindyChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoThis turned out to be the perfect choice for spending the holiday. It was our first visit. We arrived as it opened and were seated right away. Chose the blueberry sage gin cocktail at the recommendation of our server and it was delicious. Our meal began with fried cauliflower, then onto to share the burger, sardines in a tin, and the salad and every item was full of flavor did not disappoint. Our server was super friendly, attentive, and had great food recommendations. After our meal we walked around the art gallery on the second floor. Overall, great experience. Can't wait to come back.More infoIdol Wolf - 21c Museum Hotel St. LouisPrice: Expensive• Spanish• St. Louis•4.6

- MMicheleSt. Louis •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoGreat restaurant. Very clean and the staff was fantastic. They knew what we needed before we even had a chance to ask for it. The sticky cauliflower is amazing. The scallops and the fish and chips were fantastic. All the breading on the food items was light and crunchy (exactly how fried items should be enjoyed). The mac and cheese is probably the best I've ever had. And well the beef wellington needs no introduction. Great place with even better food.More infoRamsay's KitchenPrice: Expensive• American• St. Louis•4.5
- KKarlVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •184 reviews4.0Dined on Sep 8, 2024This weekend evening at dinner time when the local baseball game was on-going should have provided personalized and individualized care. However, with one bartender and one server (I so no food runner or assistants or managers either) the service was slow. When it happened, the server was marginal but the bartender, Toni, was absolutely fabulous! She not only made you feel welcome and appreciated, she made the BEST Paper Plane in the Universe! The mix of doos that we selected was well presented and tasty. The menu however is very small and Pennydrop is more of an upscale bar with a small bar menu as opposed to a full service restaurant with an amazing bar. When the baseball game finished and a crowd from the game flowed in, the service slowed even further and lines at the bar were much longer. With a few more staff members, the experience would have been maximized. Regardless of this, I will be back for my next Paper Plane before I head out of town.More infoPennydrop Bar + KitchenPrice: Moderate• American• St. Louis•3.5
