Best Cozy Restaurants in Houston

I needed a gluten free menu. There was so much choice that the whole table ate gluten feee, which made my tapas experience exceptional. The understanding around allergies from Elena was heartfelt and knowledgable. I felt very safe. Thank you

Overall a good meal in a nice pub restaurant. Food was good quality. I had the steak pie main which had plenty of nicely cooked beef. Wife had the ham and leek pie but she didn’t particularly enjoy the taste although, again, it had a good amount of filling. My chicken wing starter was a bit disappointing. 3 small wings for £6.95 was pretty poor value. Nicely presented but double the quantity in a basket would have been better received! Wouldn’t mind seeing a slightly improved selection of desserts. Service was excellent and the restaurant itself is very pleasant to eat in. Overall, a good meal but it felt a bit pricy for good pub food. We might be back again for a special occasion but unlikely to make it a regular thing.

Received a voucher for the restaurant and decided to use it on Valentines evening. Restaurant busy but not noisy, nice atmosphere, staff friendly and very efficient. We had the choice of both a la carte and market menus. Great section of options on both, market one is really good value. Nice selection of cocktails and wines by the glass. Freshly made rolls with flavoured butters are a nice touch. Food was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked, good size portions and we were really Bally with the meal. Overall we had a really lovely evening and will be back soon. Only small suggestion would be a wider selection of gins, some lovely Scottish gins out there that would be great additions.

We had a fantastic lunch at the Abbey inn, the service was prompt, the food delicious and generous portions all at a great price, would definitely recommend

The menu is great and portions filling. The desert was fabulous too! Greeted by the hostess with a big smile, seated immediately. The waitress was fine as constantly refilling my water glass without being asked. Would highly recommend this restaurant as a must go to restaurant.
