Joe was professionally trained at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America located in Hyde Park, New York. Before opening his other restaurant, Zia’s Trattoria (located one block west of Café Touché at 6699 N. The food was spectacular. Drinks and dessert may still need tinkering. But again, the food we had was better than some Michelin star restaurants I’ve been to. I will be running back for the food. We had the cauliflower salad, octopus, lamb tacos, and salmon and they were all around 9/10 or better. Wow.

Everything was exceptional except for the browned butter farfalle dish which tasted like burnt meat or the pan the butter was cooked on. Was unpleasant but the server took it off our bill which was nice of him.

Amazing atmosphere, great selection of local and Czech food, and welcoming staff members. Some waitresses were not as knowledgeable about the food ingredients and beverage as I would expect. Overall, we had a good time and we would come back again.
