Best Cozy Restaurants in Lafayette

Very solid old school place. Usually quite busy and energetically loud but the service is always good, the drinks well made and the generous portions of food are well prepared. Salads, fish, veal, and of course the fried chicken were all done just right. The perfect vegetables and mashed potatoes with warm gravy made for a tasty plate. Maybe not for everyone as it's not a trendy, hip, new place but I dig it!

Food was terrific, wait staff terrific, nice holiday atmosphere and easy parking. All great for a high quality family dining experience. The downside is we were there 3 hours as it took about an hour after first course salads and sides to get the main course, then a long time for desert. Happily since salads and sides came fairly quickly we were not starving and no one was in a hurry. They were not packed, a bit busy. My guess is they are short kitchen staffing.

Lovely Christmas Eve dinner, everything was top notch. Highly recommend this place, one of the best elegant dinner options. Must try the desserts!

Food and service was great. Christmas eve is usually a fixed menu which is notmally a standard menu item. This was surprising as the regular menu was being offered we sdrived a little early and we were seated but not rused every item was hot and fresh and the service is what we have come to expect great all around

Reve is such a local gem. Excellent service, prompt and efficient. They nailed the moules frites and and scallop risotto. Very easy to make pretty good, it takes skill to make it sublime. A round of clicks for the chef!
